BRENT SCHOOL WITHOUT WALLS
Discover - Explore - Experience

HOW DO WE BOOK?

Decide on your preferred activities from the QCA science curriculum links and additional activities such as pond dipping, bug hunting, sensory Earthwalks, parachute games, mini-shelter building (for soft toys) or compass use. You can also suggest an idea of your own. Some activities such as seed dispersal are seasonal (Autumn).

PLEASE NOTE WE ONLY TAKE ONE CLASS AT A TIME (UP T0 30 PUPILS). WE HAVE HADREQUESTS FOR WHOLE YEAR GROUPS AND IN ONE CASE A WHOLE SCHOOL!

 WHERE DO WE MEET?

The three main meeting points are Brent Town Hall/ASDA on Forty Lane (83,182, 245,297, PR2 buses), Wembley Park Tube (Jubilee and Metropolitan Line), and Kingsbury Station (Jubilee Line and 204, 183 buses).  If you arrive bycoach the best parking places are the car park or the lay-by on Fryent Way (8 and 9 on the park map).  You also have the option of choosing a linear, rather than a circular, walk and can book to one station and back from the other. This is particularly useful if your class are not good walkers. Schools bordering the park can be met at the school.

 HOW CAN I BOOK TRANSPORT?

If you book two or more weeks ahead you can get free travel for children and some of the accompanying adults from Transport for London. Book on this site: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/schoolparty/ie/index1.shtml

 HOW LONG SHOULD WE STAY?

There is plenty to do so a whole day is recommended for older children arrriving at 10/10.30am and
departing at 2.30pm with time for a picnic lunch.  Year 1 and Year 2 get Tired more quickly so it is best to have a morning or afternoon with time for a picnic tagged on to the end or the beginning 10.30/11.00-1.30 or 11.30/12.00-2.30.
